ADULT USFS CLASS
Always wanted to learn to skate? Or, do you want to grow your ability and confidence in skating? Join Adult Skate! Open to ages 18 and older.
BASIC SKILLS 1-4
These classes are for beginners in 1st grade and older and those who have passed Snowplow Sam 3. Basic Skills teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, and speedskating. Six progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns.
Your skater should wear snow pants, a jacket, gloves and helmet. To maintain established ratios, make-up lessons are not available. Late registrations are not prorated.
JUMP AND SPIN
This class is for skaters age 5-15 who are interested in figure skating. Skaters will begin learning the skill to incorporate jumps and spins while developing their skating skills. Skaters must pass Basic 2 or have instructor recommendation to register for this class.
SNOWPLOW SAM 1-4
The Snowplow Sam levels are introductory classes for skaters age 3-Kindergarten divided into four progressive levels allowing children with no prior skating experience to build confidence while learning the basic skills of skating. These classes are designed to help children develop the ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed.

USA HOCKEY
Designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating, the four badge levels will teach skaters how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper techniques for the game of hockey are the primary focus and all elements are taught without a puck. Skaters will learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful.
